The festival began in style on December 23, featuring a 72-hour non-stop shopping experience at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

The event, which ran until December 25, welcomed thousands of attendees from across the state, including concertgoers and business owners.

Gold delivered a rendition of his hit songs including ‘Sade,’ ‘Party No Dey Stop,’ and ‘Ogaranya’ while Maff thrilled the crowd with ‘Vex for You’, ‘Dealer’, and ‘Street Anthem’.

The LSF was flagged off by Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who was joined by Gbenga Omotosho, the Lagos commissioner for information and strategy, and Gbenga Adeyinka, the event host.

The first day of the festival offered a unique blend of commercial activities, music, innovation, and creativity.

Sellers had the opportunity to display their goods, providing customers with the best retail offerings. The event was designed to bring together shoppers, MSMEs, innovators, entertainers, and creatives for a fun-filled experience.

Sanwo-Olu described the festival as a “history-making event of back-to-back shopping, fun, and entertainment.”

He also reiterated the state’s commitment to growing small businesses and the entertainment industry.

Sanwo-Olu encouraged Lagos residents to participate in the festival’s activities, assuring them of adequate security. He also urged the public to patronize the business owners at the festival.

“This is first-of-its-kind and this event is made to bring shoppers with MSMEs, with innovators, with entertainers, with the creative industry, with the food industry and everybody,” he said.

“For the next three days, we are meant to all come together, enjoy good food, good music, sales at discounted market prices, shopping at the highest level and just general entertainment with the creativity of Lagos.”
