The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF)  has commiserated with  families affected by the tragic collapse of a school building in Plateau, which resulted in the loss of multiple lives, living  many injured.

The NGF Chairman, Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara, made this known in a statement by the forum acting Head of Media, Ahmed Halimah on Saturday in Abuja.

According to him, the governors stand in solidarity with people of Plateau and affected families during the difficult time.

AbdulRazaq commended the swift response of the rescue teams and efforts of the state government in managing the crisis.

He expressed the forum’s readiness to support the state government in the efforts to help mitigate impact of the tragedy to the affected families and to prevent future occurrences.
