Mr Dele Farotimi, A human rights activist and lawyer, has assumed that the President and commander in Chief of Nigeria Armed Forces, Bola Ahmed Tinubu could be better loved in the Southeast.
His assumption is based on the evidence of the geographical spread of the ongoing protests. “On the evidence of the geographical spread of the ongoing protests, it is safe to conclude that Tinubu is much more loved in the land of the rising sun, than in any other part of Nigeria,” he posted on X Friday.
Mr Farotimi’s statement comes after no protest was recorded in the five states of Southeast geopolitical zone.
Afrimarknews reports that some Nigerians are on a nationwide protest, which commenced on August 1, 2024, bothering on widespread hunger, unbearable hardship, government failed policies and inflation in the country.
