JUST IN: Passengers stranded as Abuja-Kaduna train derails

Information reaching at Afrimarknews online is that train from Abuja to Kaduna has derailed at Asha Station, leaving many passengers stranded in the Federal Capital territory.

Recall that on Sunday the 26th of May Abuja-bound train,  derailed along the Abuja-Kaduna route, leaving many passengers stranded in the Jere area of Kaduna State. This marks the second time of such instance within two weeks that the train derailed.

The spokesperson for the Nigerian Railway Corporation, Yakub Mahmoud, has not released any formal statement regarding the incident as at time of this report.
