Archbishop Okoh lauded Bishop Oyedepo for his unwavering commitment to the Gospel and his profound influence on the Christian community both in Nigeria and beyond.

“As we honour Bishop Oyedepo today, we acknowledge his profound impact on the Christian community in Nigeria and beyond,” Archbishop Okoh said in a statement. “His visionary leadership and dedication to the Word of God have inspired millions to seek a deeper relationship with Christ, transforming lives spiritually and contributing significantly to education, economic empowerment, and social development.”

The CAN President noted that in the face of Nigeria’s socio-economic challenges and rising insecurity, Bishop Oyedepo’s teachings on faith, prosperity, and resilience have provided hope and guidance to many.

“His steadfastness in preaching the message of love, unity, and faith reinforces the essential role of the Church in addressing the pressing issues facing our nation,” Archbishop Okoh added.

Bishop Oyedepo, who is also known for his educational initiatives through Covenant University and Landmark University, was hailed for using his ministry to uplift the lives of countless Nigerians. Archbishop Okoh emphasized that the Church must continue to be a beacon of hope, particularly in times of national uncertainty.

“As we reflect on the current realities of our society, we are reminded that the Church must remain a beacon of hope, promoting peace and reconciliation among diverse communities,” he said. “Bishop Oyedepo’s teachings on the Word of God as a foundation for living have never been more relevant.”

As Bishop Oyedepo steps into a new decade, Archbishop Okoh concluded by praying for God’s continued blessings on his life and ministry:

“We celebrate not only his achievements but his unwavering dedication to spreading the message of Christ’s love.

“May his ministry continue to flourish, bringing light to those in darkness and hope to the hopeless.”
