The Association of Movie Producers (AMP) recentlyheld its national elections for new executive officers. The election took place in Lagos with sttes chapters, chairmen and over 100 members represented.
Some of the elected members include Queen Blessing Ebigieson and Asuelime Ojeriakhi Eniola.
This is coming as recognition seems to be pouring in for Asuelime.
Earlier in September, Asuelime celebrated his 25th anniversary in video production after winning the awards for movie producer of the year and movie director of the year at the Nigerian Achievers Award. In 2023, one of his works was nominated at the AMVCA 2023 edition just before he was made Festival director of African Indigenous Film Festival.
While speaking with The Nation, Asuelime said, “With the commitment of the new national executives officers, AMP is set to take Nollywood to a new level home and abroad as it is known that association of movie producers is the highest of guilds in Nollywood.
“The challenge before us is monumental but I am eager to join hands with the executives and fellow members to achieve great milestones that every Nigerian producer can be proud of.”
