Abuja, Nigeria – The United States Latino Chamber of Commerce in Africa, popularly known as USLACC Africa, is proud to announce the official launching of its flagship program themed:

“AFRICA ON THE WINGS OF ECONOMIC ACCELERATION AND GROWTH.”

The high-level event is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja, Nigeria. This visionary event marks the beginning of an ambitious and transformative journey to empower 50 million African youths across the continent through strategic investments in technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, education, and industrial development.

At the heart of this initiative is a bold plan to raise a $100 billion endowment fund over the next ten years. This fund will be channeled toward programs that aim to redefine the identity of African youth—from consumers to producers, inventors, innovators, and global industrialists.

Transforming Africa’s Youth Landscape

In a statement by Ambassador Ifeoma Mary Ejiogu, the African representative, USLACC, she emphasized that the mission is not just economic—but ideological: to rebrand the African youth narrative, cultivate a generation of tech-driven entrepreneurs, and foster a self-sustaining, innovation-led African economy. She stated as follows:

“Our goal is to ignite a renaissance in Africa—one that is powered by its youth, driven by enterprise, and sustained through global partnerships,” said the USLACC Africa spokesperson. “This launch is not just symbolic; it is a call to action for policymakers, development partners, industry leaders, and visionaries across the globe to invest in Africa’s greatest resource—its people.”

International Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

Dignitaries, foreign missions, development agencies, corporate executives, investors, academic leaders, youth groups, and the media are expected to attend this momentous occasion. The event will feature keynote addresses, strategic partnership announcements, panel discussions, and the unveiling of USLACC Africa’s long-term road map for youth development.

Media Accreditation and Coverage

All local and international media organizations are invited to cover this event. Media professionals wishing to attend should request accreditation by contacting the USLACC Africa media desk via media@uslaccafrica.org.

This launch is a milestone not just for Nigeria, but for the African continent as a whole—signaling the rise of a new era driven by youth inclusion, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic transformation.

About USLACC Africa

USLACC Africa is the African extension of the United States Latino Chamber of Commerce, established to foster strategic business, investment, and development partnerships between Africa and the global Latino community. USLACC Africa serves as a continental hub for entrepreneurship, innovation, and policy influence, focused on creating a vibrant ecosystem for Africa’s emerging young leaders.

Headed by Ambassador Ifeoma Mary Ejiogu, USLACC Africa was established in 2015 to dismantle barriers hindering successful business relations between Africa and the rest of the world.

Since its inception, USLACC Africa has hosted economic Conventions in the USA, Canada and Nigeria, in collaboration with foreign partners and our parent organization, USLACC, where African participants gained valuable knowledge and exposure, facilitated funding for Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) owners and linked African businesses across various sectors to foreign markets, etc.
