Abuja, Nigeria – The United States Latino Chamber of Commerce in Africa, popularly known as USLACC Africa, is proud to announce the official launching of its flagship program themed:
“AFRICA ON THE WINGS OF ECONOMIC ACCELERATION AND GROWTH.”
The high-level event is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja, Nigeria. This visionary event marks the beginning of an ambitious and transformative journey to empower 50 million African youths across the continent through strategic investments in technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, education, and industrial development.
At the heart of this initiative is a bold plan to raise a $100 billion endowment fund over the next ten years. This fund will be channeled toward programs that aim to redefine the identity of African youth—from consumers to producers, inventors, innovators, and global industrialists.
Transforming Africa’s Youth Landscape
In a statement by Ambassador Ifeoma Mary Ejiogu, the African representative, USLACC, she emphasized that the mission is not just economic—but ideological: to rebrand the African youth narrative, cultivate a generation of tech-driven entrepreneurs, and foster a self-sustaining, innovation-led African economy. She stated as follows:
“Our goal is to ignite a renaissance in Africa—one that is powered by its youth, driven by enterprise, and sustained through global partnerships,” said the USLACC Africa spokesperson. “This launch is not just symbolic; it is a call to action for policymakers, development partners, industry leaders, and visionaries across the globe to invest in Africa’s greatest resource—its people.”
International Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
Dignitaries, foreign missions, development agencies, corporate executives, investors, academic leaders, youth groups, and the media are expected to attend this momentous occasion. The event will feature keynote addresses, strategic partnership announcements, panel discussions, and the unveiling of USLACC Africa’s long-term road map for youth development.
