The presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi, has arrived at the funeral of late Nollywood veteran actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, in Enugu state.

Obi arrived at the funeral venue in Amuri, Nkanu West Local Government Area, to pay his last respects to the late actor. The event was captured on video and shared on social media platforms.
Recall that in October 2023, reports emerged that Mr Ibu was ill and required financial assistance. Unfortunately, his condition worsened, and his family confirmed in November 2023 that one of his legs had been amputated to save his life.
The actor eventually passed away on Saturday, March 2. 2024
