In a bold move to combat unemployment and empower Nigerians with 21st-century competencies, Assertive Life Empowerment Foundation (ASEF) has commenced a comprehensive Digital Skills Acquisition Training program in Lugbe, Abuja, from November 7th, to December 6th, 2025.
The initiative, organized in collaboration with Soulmedia Communication Ltd and the Redeemed Christian Church of God, is designed to equip youths, students, women, and men with practical digital skills that can open up new streams of income and foster self-reliance in today’s technology-driven economy.
Speaking at the opening session, President, of the foundation emphasized that the program is part of ASEF’s broader mission to build financial pillars and reduce unemployment through digital empowerment. The training covers a wide range of skills, other online business ideas and entrepreneurship including Artificial Intelligence, Data Analysis, Website Design, Digital marketing, , Content creation, Basic ICT literacy, Drop shipping, Virtual assistance etc.
According to the organizers, the program is not only about technical know-how but also about mindset transformation—helping participants embrace innovation and creativity as tools for national development.
Participants expressed excitement about the opportunity, noting that such initiatives are vital in bridging the digital gap and creating sustainable livelihoods for Nigerians.
The Assertive Life Empowerment Foundation reiterated its commitment to expanding the reach of the digital skills program to other parts of the country, with future plans to partner with both public and private institutions to scale impact and ensure continuity.
