Afrobeats singer Kizz Daniel has advised his colleagues on the importance of prioritising their craft over social media algorithms.

He cited American rapper Killer Mike, a four-time Grammy winner, as an example of an artist who has achieved success without depending on social media fame.

“Leave social media algorithms, focus on your craft … have you ever heard of a guy called KILLER MIKE guess not … 4 Times Grammy winner, stop chasing the number 1 song, it’s meh now = everything can be controlled …. Most of those songs numbers no dey correlate on other platforms … check “, he wrote on X.
