The prayer march, which commenced at Aguiyi Ironsi Auditorium, Umuahia, started with a courtesy visit to the Governor, Dr Alex Otti, represented by the special adviser to the governor on religious matters, Apostle KC. Wiper and culminated at Aguiyi Ironsi Auditorium, focused on seeking divine intervention for peace, protection, and restoration in the land of Israel amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East. Participants carried banners, Nigeria and Israeli flags, sang worship songs, and offered fervent prayers for the nation of Israel, the Jewish people, global peace, and strengthened diplomatic ties between Nigeria and Israel.

Speaking during the event, the Country Director of the Nigeria Africa-Israel Initiative, said the march was part of a global prophetic mandate for Christians to stand with Israel in prayer and support.

“Israel remains central to God’s agenda for the nations. As Nigerians and as believers, we have a spiritual responsibility to lift up Israel in prayer, especially in a time like this,” she stated.

Another participant, Rev Ndubuisi G. Ndubuisi the south east zonal coordinator, Hon. Nnenaya Ogbonna, the state representative and Hon. John Osita Obimaraogu a trustee member of the organization, described the march as timely and spiritually significant, stressing that prayers for Israel are prayers for global stability and blessings.
